PackField Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how PackField handles information when you use the app to create trips, packing items, categories, quantities, notes, packed state, and local settings.

Information You Enter

PackField lets you save trip names, destinations, travel dates, packing item names, categories, quantities, notes, and packed status. This content is stored on your device.

Local Storage

Your packing records and preferences are saved locally. The app may also store local settings needed to keep the app running reliably. If you choose to copy a backup, that backup is created only after you tap the backup action.

Network And Basic Operation

The app may process device identifier, app version, device type, system version, request time, and similar basic information for app operation, basic statistics, issue diagnosis, and security maintenance. User-created packing records are not used for cross-app advertising tracking.

Third-Party Services

PackField does not include advertising networks, social login, analytics for advertising, or third-party sharing features.

Use Of Information

Information is used to show your local packing lists, calculate packed progress, maintain local settings, and support basic app operation.

Sharing

PackField does not sell your information. Your packing records remain on your device unless you choose to copy backup text and share it yourself.

Retention

Packing records remain on your device until you edit, delete, reset, or remove the app. A copied backup remains wherever you choose to place it after copying.

Your Choices

You can edit items, delete items, reset starter data, copy backup text, or remove the app from your device.

Children's Privacy

PackField is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a local-first utility. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The updated date will be revised when changes are made.
